Fankle

Most souvenir and gift shops in Scotland sell these coasters and place mats with a variety of Scottish words. This one belonged to my Mother and she was very fond of it as it justified her use of the word.
What a night of wind!. Only the bird table blew over much to the delight of the bigger birds. The fat balls and nuts and seeds were scattered so easy to get.
I am off out for my 3rd Christmas lunch and have another tomorrow. What a life!
