Rising from the ruins...

Some months ago I blipped this same spot when was largely a hole in the ground surrounded by the rubble from a demolished cinema. Now the rubble has bee cleared away and this gigantic "arc de triomphe" has emerged from the hole. I have no idea what is going to be but it does look impressive.

I do not go into Glasgow that often and today's trip to get more meaningful Christmas cards reminded me how much the city had changed- high end dining, impressive new buildings, and London shops.

Now all I have to do is write the cards.
