Christmas Hat and a Fishtail Plait

Amelia's Christmas hat is out, must mean it is Christmas soon. And I did a fishtail plait for the first time.

Our day of planning went well, it followed the usual trajectory of these things: morning spent feeling excited about all the jobs we were going to get done, middle part of day spent in a state of panic about the things we hadn't got done and weren't going to find time to do, afternoon spent frantically finishing the absolutely urgent jobs.

Tomorrow I have a small amount of marking and some Xmas shopping to do.
