Good News, Bad News day.

The good news is that our friend who we travelled to New York with phoned to say that he wanted to buy his partner a long weekend holiday for Christmas and would we like to come, and, by the way, also book it. Found a brilliant deal for Barcelona in January, staying at a 4 star hotel near Las Ramblas. The flight with BA was only £25 although taxes pushed it up to £110. Wasn't worth using my airmiles.
The bad news, and I know I could be accused of high drama, is that I have to have my tooth extracted on Thursday. I don't want a gap, albeit at the back ,and I dislike dentists. So there it is, in the scheme of things not terrible news but it will hang over me like the sword of damacles until then.
