Dreaming the American dream

Up and out early this morning as we still have some boring stuff to get done.

Right at the top of our to do list was to get a bed before Wednesday. Jill heard an ad on the radio for some big bed sale out west. So, it was up early and out to go get our new bed.

Turns out the guys sale was crap ... the place was mingin' and the beds were expensive. So we decided against any purchase.

After leaving bedless we decided it was time for breakfast tacos!

I had a bean and cheese and a potato and egg. Jill went for a bean and egg and cactus and egg! Cactus tastes pretty much like jalapeños. We also had two cups of strong black coffee each! There were two sauces on the table, one red and one green. We asked our waitress what they were. Her only response was 'one is hot, one is not as hot'. So we went for it!

Her response was surprisingly accurate. We couldn't put our finger on what they actually tasted like, but the red was very hot and the green was not as hot as the red.

Next we had to pick up another chair since we will be having guests next week and it would be rude to ask them to sit on the floor. We managed to get a bit of a deal and squeeze it into the back of the car.

This was followed by picking up a unit for our tv to sit on. It's a bit ridiculous that it was still just sitting on the floor. We dropped these off and decided we could go out and have a wee look at some cars, even though we still don't have our SSN.

I read previously that the Mustang is the automotive representation of the American. Dream. And unfortunately for us we will have to continue dreaming that American dream!

Cars here seem pretty expensive!

Anyway it was around this time my breakfast tacos and the few hours at the gym the previous day kicked back (or I had a major come down from the coffee).

Either way future precautions will include ...

1. No back to back Mexican food.
2. Say no to breakfast tacos.
3. Don't drink a lot of coffee.

The rest of the night was spent watching around 10 hours of SAMCRO.
