got it dirty again…….

…..not Placid Casual type dirty, but the roads were fairly mucky this morning.
Very gentle 20 miles to Thaxted for coffee and back.
the gov rode the Dawes - it was all going quite well until her chain over shifted and got wedged between the crank and the chain ring. No damage done but have to investigate why it happened - the derailleur position looks OK, but it can obviously push the chain too far.
Could be it's a wide gate triple mech on a super narrow double front chain set……

BTW the old leather covered saddle and the seat pack probably add 15% to the weight of the bike!!!!
