A Christmas Tram

Been a rainy old day in Hong Kong today. After church and lunch, Martin and I headed out to a charity concert at St John's Cathedral that was probably one of the best, most well organised performances I'd ever been to.

There were seven different choirs from all over Hong Kong that performed Christmas music raising funds for Haiyan relief in the Philippines.

I can honestly say that there is nothing like the sound of human voices singing in harmony. It just moves me to tears. It was so lovely and each choir had something special and different to offer, put that together with Christmas and the setting of a beautiful Cathedral and you've got a very 'moving' event, all in aid in charity. Loved it. I hope they do that every year. This was a first as one choir in particular felt compelled to do something and came up with this idea and put it out to other choirs, who then volunteered too. Magic!

I must apologise for this very blurred picture of a Christmas tram that I spotted as we were walking towards St John's. I had to take it quickly before it disappeared. I was really chuffed to see it looking so festive brightening up an otherwise dreary grey day in HK.
