Beach Huts at Broadsands
Things don't get more traditional British than these huts at Broadsands. A pretty little bay at the end of a pretty ghastly built-up stretch of coast. A little bit of sun and the colours of the doors were brought out.
Not that I was there to admire the beach architecture but in the car-park a birder regularly feeds the Cirl Buntings and it is an easy place to see them - which we duly did.
A quiet day other than a trip into Exeter to pick up a darling son - the start of the Christmas onslaught.
