little ray of sunshine

Primula x kewensis. An accidental hybrid that occurred at Key in the late nineteenth century. I came home with a plant as a raffle prize many years ago and it maintains itself by seedling into the pots around it. As an old plant dies off a new generation appear!

It has wonderful mealy leaves, the grey farina making superb patterns ... I'll show them here one day.
