Give a child a camera

Not to get too serious folks, but this is what came back from a little walk down the road, Ben with camera in hand. Getting back to the house after a day of sunshine, olive picking in my pyjamas, breakfast with a cat, coffee in the square and choosing a tree and talking about hamsters, this is what I found on downloading. Although it is just play, it struck me as the most alarming image. It could be the reality in many brutal cities across the world. We've had a really happy day, but as we are being asked to collect food and toys for families here, I have little bit of my head elsewhere. I hope we can give children the life they deserve.
