Mysterious ways
This view of the domes of St Cuthbert's and the Standard Life building (centre) from Princes Street might be familiar but photographs of it probably aren't due to the obstacles to be navigated.
Waiting for the cloud to move to the right position for the silhouette was fine, but to get clear of the overhanging trees I had to put my arms through the railings and hand myself the camera (secured to my wrist) over the top. I was half lying on the pavement with my head against the railings, using Live View and providing a lot of entertainment for the bus stop queue, one of whom applauded when I'd finished and untangled myself.
I'd intended to photograph someone else being industrious for this weeks theme challenge of "Work" but I think that while this was all pleasure and no business, it's quite relevant.
