Where else would one store last year's Christmas cards but in the hollow of the font?

They were brought out to sort through for making gift tags. Of course, this involved reading them all again, with their personal messages, before cutting them up, the rest set aside for recycling.

Christmas preparations do take such a long time, don't they?
