At the River

Tonight's featured Blip Title Song is another favourite, and 'At the River' by Groove Armada is just one of those songs that makes me want to kick back and relax - ideal for a friday night.

Tonight we met up with friends and their three kids for a family pizza picnic at The Groynes on the north side of Christchurch. Our friends brought Bobby, their Bichon cross, with them so we had some time playing in the dog park in the reserve. There's one section of the river which is fenced off so dogs can play freely in the shallows, so although Bobby didn't venture into the water, as you can see by the enthusiastic look on this four month old puppy's face who was keen to get wet, it's a great place for some canine fun.
