High and Dry

Tonight's shot could have thrown up many possible titles for my Song Title Blip Challenge; I was going to go with 'The Sea' by Morcheeba (one of my favourite bands) but instead decided on one of my favourite Radiohead songs from album The Bends.

As you can see, tonight we nipped around to my parents' place in Charteris Bay to say Happy Birthday to my father and to raise a glass. Here's the view from just over the road (what a view!) over the currently disused jetty (still awaiting post-earthquake strengthening) towards Quail Island and the Port Hills.
