The office

Yep our new place has a built in office space!

And to get it up and running we had a guy from AT&T come in and set up our internet.

When it came to registering he said they only had one server for setting up, so he got me to do it on his phone. I thought it was a bit strange but I'm the alien so I went along with it. Anyway I was taking a note of my details when he said "ill email them over to you dude!".

He then sort of hung around a wee but asking if I had any questions, to which I had none. I felt he was hangin' round for a tip but I had no change and I had discussed it previously with Jill and we decided that we're not supposed to tip these guys as we had to pay a hundred bucks for a service we could do ourselves.

Anyway he left with my personal information (password and email on his phone) and never sent them to me. Is this shady or is it because I didn't tip.

I think I need to get a book on tipping etiquette!

Meanwhile Jill figured out how to put gas in the car after a bit of an ordeal. And a mere £20 later the tank of our car was fill from almost empty.

This highlighted the ridiculous price we pay for petrol back home.

In the evening we got ourselves hooked up to Netflix!
