Christmas Crocus

Two weeks early!

This form of Crocus laevigatus usually has flowers in the garden on Christmas Day. They last well in the cold weather so perhaps it will still be so this year.

Too cold for the flowers to open here today .... but I have a little trick with a jar of hot water and a upturned mixing bowl that helps :-)
