Edinburgh sunset...

Beautiful day in Edinburgh today, and had a very successful shopping trip. I got a lovely new suit for an important meeting coming up. Then I relaxed and had a wander round the Edinburgh market.
The market has spread over the years to take up space also in St Andrew's Square, which was pleasant to walk about in as it wasn't quite so busy. The Princes Street market was so busy you could hardly move. You had to queue just to move forward. There were some lovely stalls, but the character of the market seemed to have changed a little this year. There were more "commercial" stalls selling nice jewellery etc, but fewer of the traditional "German" style stalls with the very traditional candles and gingerbreads etc. Also fewer German voices, although there were still some. I wonder why there has been this change?
