And a little vinyl heaven downstairs

A spur of the moment trip to New Mills to visit High Street books with @darkpeakbirder who has had her eye on the place via twitter @highstbooks for a while. She did mention it sells records and CDs as well but I didn't really think any further about it.

Following on from yesterday thoughts it was Early closing day in New Mills today (Wednesday) and very quiet on the roads and so quiet in the town we managed to park right outside the shop ( 1 hour max)

Enjoying looking through the books on the ground floor there was the sign at the end of the row records CDs downstairs.

Descending some very old stone steps revealed a wonderful sight, a little bit of vinyl heaven. I was a bit overwhelmed. Later I was told it was a fairly common reaction from first time visitors to stand on the last step and take it all in before walking in and start examining the superbly categorised and labelled stock - much love involved here !
