just caught the bus !

Walked to the Post Office at 5pm and then thought I would try and snap some night scenes with my phone camera.

As the lights on the town's Christmas tree were not on this was the one I have chosen. It is half-day closing on Tuesday in Glossop so perhaps they are saving electricity !

Is there anywhere in the country where the shops really do close on half-day closing day? It made me remember how important it was to know that when visiting somewhere new and reference would be made to the AA Handbook for the information. Glossop Tuesday, Buxton Wednesday, Stockport Thursday or was it the other way round ?
