Birthday Girl!

We had a really nice day today. it was The Mother's birthday today but she was busy out having yet another village Christmas dinner with her friends. So we went out, too!

The Man and I had a day out with The Bro-in-Law, kanyl, and Sis-in-Law. The first day we have had out with them for at least six years when we went off to trade shows. We went down to Barton Grange Garden Centre near Preston. They'd been many times but it was a first for us. I had a nice Christmas dinner and enjoyed looking round.

Bro-in-Law is always thinking about blips, too, so was happy to pose but, the blip for today had to be of The Mother on her 86th birthday. No, she doesn't colour her hair, my gran didn't go grey,either! I must take after the other side of the family.

We spent a lovely evening round at hers. We took crisps, cheese, pâté and biscuits round to her house and she provided the whisky.
