Zooming lens

My lovely borrowed lens will be zooming its way back to the hire place tomorrow so today was my last chance to play with it. Poor weather and baking got in the way a bit so I'm not sure I really got the most out of it. However, it was invaluable at the gig and I'm very pleased I hired it. Would I buy one if I had a pile of cash? It probably wouldn't be top of the list, but it's certainly a beautiful lens. Heavy mind.

Anyway, baking for a coffee morning at school, a friend's birthday and my own greedy tummy took up a lot of the day. That and the continuing computer sorting.

During a brief break between dropping Katherine off at a club and shopping, me and Conor had a wander towards the beach. (Obviously I didn't risk taking a rented lens actually on the beach....) There were dramatic storm clouds behind me, but I felt more in a mood to look ahead - at the blue skies.
