Ssh! Don't Wake King Kong!

I'm quite certain that I am not the only one who sees King Kong's profile when gazing at Petit Piton from this angle!

This is the view from our cottage, where you can see this magnificent volcanic plug rising straight up out of the sea to an altitude of 2,461 feet.

Petit Piton and its twin, Gros Piton are iconic symbols of Saint Lucia. Even the local beer is named after them!
