A peaceful Tuesday.

The morning centred around the televised tribute to honour Nelson Mandela.He has shone like a glorious star and his light and spirit remains amongst those who have ears to hear and attempt to pass this peaceful and reconciling philosophy to the generations and nations who can accept it, live it and realise what a treasure has been given to all of us to unite the world.

So sad the rain continued throughout the beautiful service and I hoped there would be a rainbow.
I listened to the very good speeches that reflected on and encapsulated the essence of the message Nelson Mandela lived. There was great agreement about how after his imprisonment, he sowed seeds of forgiveness and unity with an emphasis on non domination by anyone, to avoid disharmony.
His way of looking at life can go viral, but a bit like being born again as a Christian, when you see the light, there begins the journey and it is a life journey to walk in the light of God and honour the Divine Omnipresence in all aspects of life.
We ignore God and any good message, at our peril, regarding peace, environmental care and sharing the world resources in such a way so as to tread lightly on the Earth, individually and together as a planet.

So thankful Maria returned home yesterday.
We have been Christmas shopping for a short while in town and now we are home.
