A slice of Lesley's life

Productivity

An alarmingly ram-packed Monday. Woke early so pushed a tiny bit forward on the photo books that I am so ridiculously late with it isn't true. For no good reason either, next year I will give Carl permission to not let me drink wine in November if I haven't at least started them.

Kids to school, various shops and jobs on the way home before working to the wire. Really could have done with two more hours today. No clubs after school so home for a mass homework / baking / making dinner session. The kids were doing the baking (chocolate chip cookies Jackson and rocky road Anna) with me playing the part of kitchen grunt. I ran out of time to eat dinner before Jackson had to be taken to his piano lesson so I have enjoyed a glamorous car picnic outside. Somehow what is to come is not the sofa and West Wing, but a netball match. Well, hopefully there will be WW later.

The very good thing about a busy, productive day is that it makes Monday fly by and has been positively enjoyable.

The picture is from a sewing shop who are mending a zip on a jacket for me. As I was leaving I noticed their Christmas tree decorations.
