Spray from one of the Fairy Glen waterfalls freezes on nearby branches - by Rosemarkie on the Black Isle. Would've been easier (and taken fewer attempts) if I'd brought the tripod...
A rare occasion lately, went out for a walk this morning. A favourite route - along the shore from Rosemarkie; turning inland to Hillockhead; down the Eathie/Navity backroad to the Fairy Glen; and back to Rosemarkie. Tea and cake in the shore tearoom was a bonus. In previous years it would close at the end of Summer.
There wasn't much snow, but the climb up the hill away from the coast was distinctly dicey. Steep slope, sodden ground, wet leaves and moss, along with a little snow. Tread warily.
Back home, and the hard disk is near enough full. Time for a long overdue backing up session, and then clear-up.
