A Work of Art

Our grand daughter was so excited about decorating this little tree. I pulled out some old ornaments and let her do her work of art. Here she is, showing me the finished product, Mickey in hand. She was delighted when I looked through some our daughter's old stuffies and came up with this one! If you look closely you can see a star with a picture of our daughter when she was about the same age. When our grand daughter had finished decorating the tree, she put presents under it - her favorite big bear and other stuffed animals.

We also brought out the Winnie the Pooh skating pond which plays music and has the characters skating in circles on the pond. This also belongs to our daughter, but has got a lot of mileage with the grand kids! All in all, it was a very good day of watching the grand kids in anticipation of Christmas and all the excitement.
