Nelson Mandela

I traveled across London today to see the Christmas Market and fairground in Hyde Park. Luckily I arrived early so managed to have a good look around before the crowds became too horrendous . As I left for the relative piece and quite of the park the crowds were so huge the organisers were stopping people from entering for long periods. Altogether much too busy and noisy for this country boy.

On the way back to the South Bank for a closer viewing of the Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition I passed by the Nelson Mandela statue at the Festival Hall which is now adorned with many floral tributes.

After an enjoyable but tiring day I was fast asleep by 9.30.
