Date night!

A very successful Christmas Fair in Roy Bridge today. Quite an early start to get the hall all organised in time for all the stall holders but we got there. A great turnout and an excellent £930 raised for the village so well worth the effort. There were cakes galore but by the end of the day the cupboard were bare; I think a good day was had by all.
The boys had a pal round and we went for fish and chips to feed them all for dinner which went down really well.
Myself and Mr Cakes went for a grown up meal to our favourite restaurant tonight. A real treat. A delicious meal in such pleasant surroundings and a chat with some stranded Canadian tourists; their campervan had a disagreement with the raging winds and I think we've sorted a home for it while their insurance sorts things out. Only in Lochaber!
