Entrance to Fort Adams, Newport, Rhode Island

Fort Adams is a large fort (reminiscent of Vauban's fortifications in France), guarding the seaway into Newport, Rhode Island.
I took this photo of its narrow passage way through the thick walls in hopes of its turning out more arty than it has....
