Fall foliage, NE Connecticut

On the advice of our Lonely Planet guidebook and a charming lady in the Mystic tourist office, we drove to the NE corner of Connecticut, an area of "farmland and rolling meadows" and trees in their autumn colours, as illustrated by this photo.
Unfortunately the scenery is rather marred by the electricity poles and wires along the roads! (And I missed the bright red maples I loved in my McGill days....)
But definitely worth seeing!
