Wedge Tailed Eagle
Went for a drive to Namadgi. On the way caught sight of a couple of eagles. One took off almost straight away but this one was busy eating lunch. When it took off with remaining meal in claw it was chased by a couple of Currawongs who were persistently dive bombing it.. When I returned to the car I noticed a bunch of Galah feathers with fresh looking blood on them. It was only later when I looked at the photos closely and zoomed in, that I realised the eagle had been feeding on a Galah.
