Winter Wonderland

We took our life in our hands and headed into Princes Street for some Christmas shopping. Just No 1 and I.

I haven't seen the town centre as busy as this for years. Over the last few years the tram works have closed roads and shut down businesses. This year there's a real buzz about the place. The roads have reopened and Winter Wonderland has tripled in size. Even the big wheel is bigger!

Managed to tick off more than a few presents from my list with the help of No 1 who seemed to know the assistants in every shop ! She even managed to negotiate a 30% discount in one of them.

No 1 and I are out tonight - off to a friend's 30th Birthday Party (and it's within staggering distance). Mr S and No 3 are playing with the Christmas Train set. No 2? Well she's upstairs "nursing her wrath to keep it warm" again.
