Baby, it's cold outside...
I made the husband come down to the lake this morning to look at the wonders of yesterday. It never ceases to amaze me how things can change overnight. The lake was criss crossed with stripes that no longer held snow and the sensible part of my brain was intruding with the thought that maybe my decision to walk on it was in fact a little premature. By this morning my tracks from yesterday had been joined by a coyote's, everywhere that I had walked, so had he. I found the remains of the animal that the ravens had been playing with, photographed the deer, but opted not to blip that (a tad gory). Temperatures were in the single digits compounded by a windchill factor. After only a few shots I couldn't feel my fingers...tomorrow looks to be colder yet!
