1.4 is 17

When I was first on Twitter, I used to refer to my children by numbers so people wouldn't have to wonder which one I was talking about. I had 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 from my first marriage and 2.1 and 2.2 from the second attempt. Well, today is 1.4's birthday and she's 17.

I love Milly - for that is 1.4's real name - to bits and this afternoon I made her birthday cake. By my reckoning this is the 77th birthday cake I've made for my big girls. Later on, we had a lovely birthday tea up at the house with all the other numbers and my second wife, Hannelie. It was a really lovely family get together.

After the party, I drove Hannah (1.2) down to Manchester and from there I went onto Huntingdon, where I arrived at just after 1am, only to find this waiting for me at the Premier Inn. There was both a sigh and a sad face, I can tell you!
