All Is Calm...

Thanks to modern science and a good night's sleep we wrapped up warm and took my germs out for some fresh air.

Kailzie Gardens was very frosty - the pond here is frozen - and the walled garden closed, being tucked up for the winter, so our £2.5o's didn't get us more than a stroll round the edge. Thankfully there was little evidence of wind damage beyond one small tree, blown to an unnatural angle.

Home via the backroad overlooking the Borders Railway workings, where the road was periodically covered in frozen runoff and icy puddles.
