Stormy sky

It is just typical. FOLOH has gone to Ayrshire early this morning . There were no trains but he managed to get there by bus. He woke me at 5am to tell me there was forked lightning and thunder so I should unplug the computer while he did the TV. I would much rather have slept on and let him unplug whatever he wanted himself. Then the electricity went off at 5.30 am, it came on again for about 30 minutes late morning, and then off till 7.45 pm
We have one tree down which I have left for himself to sort. I still have the visitors, but luckily I have a gas hob so fed them risotto for lunch and cauli and broccoli in a cheese sauce for dinner.
I also have the log burning stove and plenty candles, but it has been a long day.
Millie and I braved the snow, icy road and flying branches, and I was amazed at all the colours in the sky. The photo is not really dramatic enough . It had pink, purple, dark grey and also a bit of blue.
I hope you are all ok, it seems a bit calmer now.
