The Good Ship Lollipop

I loved that song when I was young.
Our visitors treated us to lunch at the Storehouse and this ship was on the wall. They had the enormous helpings of fish and chips and I had veggie Irish Stew. I wanted to see what it would be like. I think it was barley, potatoes, carrots, and parsnips which had been whizzed in a food processor and then made into a 'dollop' with onion gravy. It doesn't sound great and it didn't look great but actually it tasted quite nice.
Foloh has to go to Ayrshire tomorrow as a dear friend of my Mum's has died and he is going to represent our family at the funeral. He will be back Friday night and my visitors leave Friday morning.
Tonight is the knitting group so I am off to do a little bit of dusting etc. We are having mulled wine tonight so there may not be much knitting done!
