Winterizing

Winterizing the mowers can only mean one thing... winter's drawing near. My father's been repeating this ordeal for as long as I've known him and I'll no doubt continue it after he's gone.

This year every annual event comes with the memory of my mother who moved on to her heavenly address last February. Not that she had any real part of winterizing the mowers, but the other side of Thanksgiving has been heavy with thoughts of her.
