I was rather proud of myself this afternoon, as I actually started my Christmas shopping! Very early for me. I only bought two things though, then had quite enough of that shopping nonsense for now and trotted off to St. James' Park to escape the annoying shops and look at nature and wildlife instead.

I caught sight of this green fellow, enjoying a juicy berry or two in the park. He was quite high up for my short height, so I had a bit of a neck ache after standing with my head back, trying to keep the camera still with my cold hands, to get a shot of the pecking parakeet.
