Large [barn] d'or
Sorry about the awful pun on the famous Luis Bunuel film - I just couldn't resist it. This shot is unusually inorganic for me, but I've got interested in the old weathered and age-battered countryside infrastructure. Not only did this enormous barn door glow invitingly in the late summer sun, its textured corrugations echoed the ploughed fields nearby and the pattern of low sunlight illuminating a copse of vertical poplar poles, wonderfully resembling the stack of matchsticks they would once have become. There are some great old fenceposts, gates and wooden sheds nearby, so expect some more minimalist shots, especially once the frost etches in the marks of time.
