Screw the Calories!!

The little screw had worked its way to freedom from my glasses and so the arm fell off this morning. Is it an arm or a leg? I can't remember. Anyway, I really need them when I use the computer and for reading so I walked up to the opticians this morning and they screwed my sight back.

This afternoon seven of us swim girls met in the Marriott for afternoon tea. It was a lovely afternoon and the food was great. Some of us opted for the 'sparkling afternoon tea' and quaffed a glass of something nice and fizzy too. I was good as I walked there and back, so with my long walk to the optician I'm hoping I have counteracted the effects of the finger sandwiches, the champagne jelly, the scone jam and cream and the little cakes.
