Lunch

Today more than made up for yesterday.
The eggnog latte drunk at a relatively early hour, set the atmosphere of the day- relaxed and full of laughter.

We were entertaining the globe trotting couple Barrioboy and Digitaldaze to lunch in the Dower House. So relaxed was the occasion that I forgot to put my signature dish into the oven at the right time, and we had to talk amongst ourselves between courses. Thankfully the atmosphere was comfortable enough that it didn't matter, and we did make it in the end.
It was lovely to see them both again and hear their news.

Even my label fiasco of yesterday is being addressed, (no pun intended), and I can relax in the certain knowledge that any Christmas cards I send will have sticky Address labels on them even if my friend o.m.ts thinks anything less than handwritten ones is tantamount to selling my soul to the devil.

And now that our guests have gone, the butler is doing the washing up. Funnily enough, he bears a distinct resemblance to his Lordship. I might give him a permanent job if there are no breakages.
