Steamy

Today was an interesting one. We took a tour of the volcano that steams and bubbles on Saint Lucia. You could really smell the sulphur in the air, and watching all that steam and boiling water was creepily mesmerizing! We also walked through a really beautiful rainforest garden, brimming over with all manner of exotic and colourful flowers, ferns, and plants, and a stunning waterfall thrown in for good measure. Quite a contrast between the two landscapes, but it certainly made me think about how wonderfully diverse our small blue planet is -- something to truly treasure.
