Trees R Us.

When i passed St Marys Church yesterday morning, there were lots of people taking trees and all sorts of Christmas paraphernalia into the church. I then saw the sign that said there would be a Christmas Tree Festival from the 3rd to the 7th of December. I thought it would be a great blip so i went down on the bus this afternoon. I walked up to the church and there was no sign of anyone, and the door was closed. I quietly opened the door and the Minister said ,come in, you are the only one here. It was so beautiful inside with all the trees lit up. He gave me a piece of paper to judge the different categories that had entered; ie, schools, businesses and churches. The picture quality isn't very good, probably because the light was bad. On my way out i bought a raffle ticket . The prize is a beautiful Christmas cake.
When we opened the bedroom curtains this morning, our little resident blackbird was on the bird table eating the dried mealworm that i bought yesterday. I was thrilled. It has made my day.
