Rose in December

Woke to rain this morning..... but we were going dancing so it didn't matter much. After lunch we had a bit of brightness, but it didn't last long. Went to the library and to post some overseas Christmas cards, then came back and made a huge pot of soup, some for the freezer too.

Have started Christmas preparations, and sorting out what I need. Not very much in the mood but it has to be done.

On the way home from the library I took some photos of various things, but when I got back to the garden I noticed that my rose bush (the one I am always telling you about) still has roses, and I am amazed that it is still blooming in December. Apologies if you are tired of seeing it, but I love it.
