Poker and Cervesa
We visited a Bodega (winery) in the morning. It was a surprisingly small place and seemed to be closed when we first arrived. But a woman soon came out and asked us if we would like to taste some wine. She showed us round and talked about the wine production and then let us taste a selection of wines. We bought nine bottles to take back with us to the villa.
We made a visit to the Carrefour on the way back to get something for lunch and dinner. Then it started to rain. This didn't matter too much though. One of the great things about the villa is that it has two large sheletered bits, underneath sets of arches. One of them was a bit like a veranda looking out onto the swimming pool. A perfect place to have lunch when it's raining. We had a burger and a beer.
Thankfully it stopped raining later in the afternoon so we got into the pool. It was a bit cooler than before so we kept warm by attempting to jump onto the lilos from the edge of the pool without falling off. Great fun, and some hilarious photos!
We set up ready for another barbecue in the evening but then it started to rain again and this time it was heavy rain. Once again it didn't matter as we easily could move the barbecue underneath the other set of arches. There was also a dining table and 6 chairs in this sheltered bit where we had dinner whilst watching the rain batter the terrace.
Later on we played poker and drank a few cervezas.
Here's a link to some more photos of today.
