In the sea at Aiguablava beach
There is a big market in Palafrugell every Sunday morning so we got up early(ish) so we could explore it. It was very busy and also very difficult to get round, especially with a buggy. Thankfully the meat Market and the fish Market were quite close. These were the main interest for us, planning a barbecue. We got some very expensive huge prawns and some very cheap mackerel, amongst other things.
We had omelette for lunch, back at the villa before making an excursion to Aiguablava beach near Begur. This was a very small, quiet beach. Perfect for Orla to build sandcastles. We all went in the sea and soaked up the late afternoon sun.
In the evening we had our first barbecue at the villa. It was the prefect setting for a barbecue, given the weather, the location, the view and the local food. The only problem was trying to take it in whilst also taking enough photos to record it!
Here's a link to some more photos of today.
