#Lovember the 30th: And finally
I love silliness. I couldn't live without it.
That's it. A whole month of trying to blip things I love.
It's been interesting to see how many days I just didn't have time for love - or feel I had time for love. I knew I would struggle and I knew I would miss things out.
eg:
seashells
red wine
cheap, sterling silver earrings
other family members
food
cooking
sleeping
reading
and...
... Writing
Writing is the biggie that's done things I can't describe and yet I haven't managed to include in my month of things I love. It's something I don't manage to include in my daily life either. So I guess that's fitting.
I also love hugs, kisses, comedy, sunshine, flowers, dewdrops on spiders' webs, chatting at the kitchen table over a pot of tea/bottle of wine. I love the good stuff about the Internet, I love the Open University, I love that I got a degree at 41, I love the colour blue, I love pistachio nuts, I love the people I've met but never seen who are my small group of friends on my tiny 2nd facebook account, I love the way I feel after yoga, after sex, after a good night's sleep, I love popcorn, I love watching films I love ordinary, common, normal basic needs and the things that link and connect all of us everywhere. I love being a parent. I love being married. I love wooden furniture. I love broad shoulders, I love salt and pepper hair. I love my memories of a family holiday in the Lake District. I love the idea of a smallholding with chickens and self-sufficiency. I love the ingenuity of man. I love people with a social conscience. I love the kindness of strangers. I love being surprised by fellow man when fellow man has previously disappointed me.
I love some very kind people who have supported me and been kind to me and not given up on me even though we'd never been in the same room together.
I love that you read this.
