I love ponies on the beach.

Whenever I've seen horses and ponies on the beach I've observed how much they love it too.

9 years ago, When I was pregnant with Tess and feeling ridiculously tired and sick, we went on holiday to Allihies in South West Cork in Ireland in a heatwave. When the woman we were renting a house from found out that Gemma could ride she let her take one of her ponies for a ride on the little beach where we staying. It was one of life's highs.

Thursday was another better day. Tess went back to school and Richard finally ate a proper meal. After a day of electrical tinkering and some cooking in the dark, we got our new heating on and the house was warm again.

Yippee!
