Curiousitea Decor
So Thom left early(ish) this morning to heaed back to Leicester to run a training session for the Volleyball team, so I was at leisure to catch up with Hugo in our university coffee shop. Named Curiousitea, and with fresh flowers on the table, great drinks, and brilliant cakes. Well, you can't go wrong.
Since we had done so much work over the weekend and we had an evening out to discuss in which Hugo had been a little naughty, it was decided that drinks and cake were in order...a tradition with us that has been going on for over three years. Nothing like tradition to make a day less stressful! God knows how many calories we consumed over the course of those two hours, with cake and hot chocolate/coffee beverages. Hugo for one went for an extra-special hot chocolate which is...a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, whipped cream, two flakes, chocolate sprinkles, maltesers, fudge pieces. You get the idea, a heart attack in a cup.
Just what I needed to break up a day that was otherwise filled with work, and stress. All applications start to open for teacher training around now, so all is revving up. But then again, once I have applied for everything, I don't need to do it again like some people who will have to fill in numerous applications and do numerous aptitude tests before even getting a look-in.
